Write a review of Guild guitars was a pleasure. I love these things and have owned several since the 1960s. My first acoustic 12-string and first were both guilds. They play as well today as it was 45 years ago, in fact, they play better. Talk about something built to last a life … Guild does exactly this.

The company has been producing the finest quality electric and acoustic guitars since 1953 and they are good in business. Once called "The Stradavari of guitars," Guild has continued to live up to their name for close to sixty years. The list of musicians who are among the guild Select Brand Eric Clapton, Richie Havens, Paul Simon and George Benson, among many others.

First, is headquartered in New York City, the brand is now in New Hartford, Connecticut. There they stay for discriminating musicians around the world with uncompromisingly crafted guitars, beautiful, strong and balanced are supplying. Innovation is developing and quality control has just the brand better than the years pass.

You probably know that good things are not cheap and cheap things are not good, and in this context, guilds Good, but not cheap. You get what you pay for, right? Well, we hope so, anyway. With Guild, you will not get the best for most. That's a pretty good arrangement.

The Woodstock rock festival in 1969 saw the launch of glory for many of the artists playing the venue. Richie Havens is emerging as one of those "little-knowns" who exploded with popularity made after the concert in a music album, and later a movie. Richie sat there in the middle of the stage, hammering on his Guild D-40 Dreadnought with his rendition of "Motherless Child 'renamed' Freedom '. It was a moment in history, many repeatedly, and Guild was there.

Nothing compares to Guild guitars in sound quality and appearance instrument durability. Have guitars cost more, but that does not mean that they are better. And much less expensive, but you can guarantee they will not measure up to this fine American guitar tradition.
