How can I create traction for an outside wooden incline (ramp) that my forklift drives up to get to load dock?

When it rains, our forklift’s tires spin on the slippery wood. We have tried to staple down a wire mesh, but the tires shred it up in a week. The ramp is probably about a 10-15 degree incline for about 14 feet. The fork truck makes it up easy when dry. Will any paint with texture mixed in hold up and do the trick????

Pick up 2 sheets of diamond plate. Bolt them securely to the ramp and you should have no more trouble with the wheels spinning. Hope this helps.
