how to place a broken glass screen for an ipod touch?

today I received the replacement for my daughter i-pod touch and I removed the broken glass and install the new one. But the problem is that the touch screen is not working there is an small piece in the left up corner that i don’t now where it goes, and also the screen is coming out easily, that i need to buy any special glue to hold this on place.
I will really appreciate any advice or help

Take it to the Apple store, you don’t want to make it any worse than it already is
