What do atheists make of something like this?
When I was in grade one or two we lived in Eastern Germany. One day someone brought a whole bunch of Bibles for children. It was written in simple language, had hard cover, glossy pages and pictures on ever other page. So they handed out them to kids for free. I didn’t mind back than in 80s, a freebie. Now I’m wondering who financed this and for what purpose? The school was Russian and books where also in Russian.
I don’t make anything of it, it is what it is.
