Has anyone purchased a item from apple and used the education discount?

i may buy a laptop from apple and their website says they give a discount to college students but it wont say how much or what percentage i was wondering if anyone out there has purchased anything from apple and gotten that discount how much did you save and on what product

I’ve purchased my iMac via their education discount because I work for the college. If I can remember correctly, you’ll save a couple of hundred dollars off the regular retail price – which is helps alot.
