Can anyone figure anything out about this ww2 helmet?

I have a ww2 helmet that was given to me by my dad after his grandpa died. My grandpa was in the military and faught during ww2 but idk any more then that. Inside the steel pot is a code located where the tag would be if it were a hat. The code is U-SCH-86/1 and on the inside of the inner shell where all the leather is a little print somewhat in the same location says 56-58. Can these tell me anything at all?

Was your Grandfather by chance Austrian? U-SCH is the manufacturer “Ulbricht Schwanenstadt” (an Austrian firm). The number is normally the year. If he used this in WW2 then it was either made in 1886 or it’s a code for the year. The later ones had the 2 digit year, 71 = 1971. I’m not sure on the earlier ones. The company itself is around 200 years old so 1886 would not be impossible.

The 56-58 on the inner shell denotes the size in cm.
