What can I do for red blotchy skin?

Are there any good products that still stained red from skin? I think years shave my face with a razor cartridge have caused permanent redness. (I have recently taken the wet shave, but I wonder if there are any lotions that will actually reduce redness Are My skin is sensitive and I would not shave every day, but I have to because of work.
