Practice speed and pace using?
I do weight training exercise for martial arts. I do high rep superset training. But I hear The fact that the slower exercises more muscles, which are what I would want to build, but I've heard that exercise could make slow my muscles slowly to combat this is true. If slow, but I slowly go faster pace of the muscle do a lot less? Want to go medium speed for ideal be? Thanks.
Ya its true that a slower pace can build muscle mass, but take away explosiveness. Its all about muscle, go slow, the trains slow twitch Muscles, to build the easiest and they give you good sustainable strength, go where trains your fast twitch muscles that gives you fast powerful contractions but tire easily. Since these two martial arts for the best, to do what is good quick contraction is then a very slow and controlled release. Ex: push-ups, explode and slowly lower to say 2-3 seconds. And faster pace can build the muscle mass its just that fast-twitch muscles take longer to train
